Abstract:

On behalf of the Peconic Estuary Program, Kathy Schwager (The Nature Conservancy)  and Marilyn Jordan (The Nature Conservancy) surveyed Peconic Lake on June 7, 2006 to document to the extent of the invasive Ludwigia peploides.  This is the first GPS survey of Ludwigia in Peconic Lake - it was done to document the extent of Ludwigia before the first large-scale volunteer hand-pulling event in Peconic Lake on June 10, 2006.
