SHELLFISH DENSITY DATA FOR TOWN OF ISLIP.THE ORIGINAL DATA WAS GIVEN IN POINT FORM AND THEN HAND-CONTOURED BY T. HALAVIK AND DIGITIZED TO PRODUCE DENSITY POLYGONS. THESE POLYS WERE THEN CODED AS NONE PRES, OCCURRENCE, MODERATE, AND HIGH ACCORDING TO ASSIGNED DENSITIES. ORIGINAL MAP WAS LOUSY PHOTOCOPY - PAPER ALSO WARPED. Data circa 1986?, via Stuart Buckner.
